These unique and individually made ceramic sculptures are inspired by early equine art - Greek chariot horses and Chinaís Tíang dynasty terracotta horses - as well as from the more accessible and lively horses in the field across the lane from the studio !

Created from sketches and photos, this series of ceramic horses, dogs and other animals are characterised by a lively style, in which the creatures seem to engage their viewers somehow on a human level.
